The European Left Alliance was founded in August 2024 to unite left green and feminist forces to take concrete action against capitalism, resist the far-right on the ground, and mobilize to win new victories and form governments across Europe.

The Alliance will hold its first Congress at the Alfandega Congress Center in Porto (Portugal) on June 13th and 14th. Leaders and delegates from all member parties will meet to adopt decisions and orientations for the work of the European Left Alliance, and share their common vision to strengthen the left in Europe. Political allies from Europe and beyond, as well as trade unions, civil society and activists, are invited to meet with the European Left Alliance and join our ideas and forces for a better future.

The congress will be divided in two parts:

• Friday 13th, 9am-1pm, for representatives of member parties only: internal workshops, general assembly, and congress to adopt decisions for the European Left Alliance
• Friday 13th, 1pm until Saturday 14th evening: public events, panels, and networking with international guests

Public events will be broadcasted online.
