The European Left Alliance for the People and the Planet (ELA), launched in September 2024, is the European political family of the transformative left – uniting parties, movements, and citizens to win power and reshape Europe.
ELA has 11 member parties from 10 different European countries: Bloco de Esquerda (Portugal), Enhedslisten (Denmark), La France Insoumise (France), Podemos (Spain), Razem (Poland), Sinistra Italiana (Italy), Socialistische Partij (Netherlands), Vänsterpartiet (Sweden), Vasemmistoliitto (Finland), and two associate members, EH Bildu (Basque Country) and Sosialistisk Venstreparti (Norway).
