A new European platform for left, green and feminist youth organising
The European Left Alliance (ELA) and its newly affiliated youth organisation, the Young European Left Alliance (YELA), are pleased to announce the official creation of YELA — a new European platform uniting left-wing, green and feminist youth organisations in the fight against fascism, imperialism and climate inaction.
YELA brings together young people from across Europe to organise, strategise, and build societies for the people and the planet. The organisation is grounded in anti-fascism, feminism, environmentalism and anti-imperialism.
Founding member organisations
YELA is formed by the youth wings of ELA member parties: Jeunes Insoumis (France), Jovens do Bloco de Esquerda (Portugal), Młodzi Razem (Poland), Rebeldía Joven (Spain), Rød-Grøn Ungdom (Denmark), Sosialistisk Ungdom (Norway), SP Jongeren (Netherlands), Ung Vänster (Sweden), Unione Giovani Sinistra (Italy), Vasemmisto-opiskelijat (Finland), and Vasemmistonuoret (Finland).
